FAQs
What ingredients are in these treats?
Just one — 100% USDA beef liver. No additives, fillers, or preservatives.
Are these treats made in the USA?
Yes. We source USDA beef liver from the USA and freeze-dry every batch on our homestead in Fort Salonga, NY.
Are these good for training?
Absolutely! The lightweight cube shape makes them great high-value rewards for training sessions.
Are these safe for all dog sizes and breeds?
Yes. These treats are suitable for most adult dogs. If your dog is very small or has chewing concerns, offer smaller pieces as appropriate.
What is the texture like?
They are crunchy, freeze-dried cubes — light, airy, and easy for dogs to enjoy.
Why is there an oxygen absorber in the bag?
We include an oxygen absorber to help maintain freshness and protect the treats from moisture.
Please do not remove or consume the oxygen absorber — leaving it in the bag keeps the treats crisp.
Do I need to refrigerate these treats?
No. Freeze-dried treats are naturally shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration.
However, refrigeration after opening is optional and may help extend freshness, especially in humid environments.
How should I store them?
Store in a cool, dry place and keep the bag sealed.
Refrigeration after opening is optional for extended freshness.
How many treats can I give per day?
Give as a treat or training reward — not as a complete diet. Since they’re nutrient-dense, a little goes a long way.
Can I crumble them over food?
Yes! They make a great high-protein meal topper, especially for picky eaters.
Do they contain any preservatives?
No. The freeze-drying process naturally preserves the beef liver. Nothing else is added.
How big are the pieces?
They are cut into bite-sized cubes, perfect for training or quick rewards.
Refunds & Returns
Because all of my products are handcrafted or small-batch items, I’m unable to offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once an order has been placed. Each item is made with care, and I provide full ingredient lists so you can check for allergies or sensitivities before purchasing. Please review these carefully, as I can’t be responsible for reactions or allergies to any ingredients.
I understand that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to scent, texture, or color, but I’m not able to accept returns or exchanges for those reasons.
However, if something arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us immediately so I can make it right.
Warm Weather Notice (May–September)
Body butters are especially sensitive to heat. During the warmer months, it’s possible for them to soften, melt, or look less full once they arrive. This is simply the whipped texture collapsing from heat—not a loss of product. Every jar is filled to the top and weighed at packaging to ensure accuracy.
Once packages leave my hands, I can’t control temperature changes or how long they sit in transit, so ordering these items during hotter months means accepting the possibility of texture changes.
During the colder months, body butters may arrive firmer or solid. This is normal for temperature-sensitive, whipped products and does not affect their quality or benefits. The butter will soften once applied to skin.
A few helpful notes:
- If your butter arrives melted, place it in the refrigerator to firm it back up.
- Even if the texture changes, the quality and benefits of the ingredients remain the same.
